Description
The Mid Pride Peach (Prunus persica 'Mid Pride') is a delicious, mid-season variety specially developed for regions with mild winters and lower chill hours. This freestone peach produces medium to large fruit with golden yellow skin and a warm red blush. Its rich, sweet flavor and juicy, firm texture make it an excellent choice for fresh eating, as well as for baking, canning, and preserves. Reliable, productive, and beautifully ornamental in bloom, the Mid Pride Peach is a favorite among home gardeners in warmer climates.
Unique Features:
• Mid-Season Ripening: Typically ripens in mid to late summer, providing a flavorful harvest after early varieties are finished.
• Attractive Skin: Yellow skin with a lovely red blush gives it a classic peach appearance.
• Sweet, Juicy Flesh: The yellow flesh is firm, juicy, and richly flavored—perfect for fresh eating and cooking.

• Great for Warm Climates: Performs well in mild-winter areas with fewer chill hours required than many traditional peach varieties.

How to Plant

STEP 2) Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting.
STEP 3) Remove the plant from the pot and place the root ball in the hole. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system.
STEP 4) Once the plant is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material.
STEP 5) Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets.
STEP 6) When finished, water thoroughly.
