The Tenn Pear (also known as Tennessee) tree produces small, sweet pears that make for good dessert fruit. The pears ripen in early fall and are a greenish yellow with a red blush. Besides producing fruit, the tree will bloom with fragrant white flowers in the early spring. Tenn Pear trees are heat tolerant and require 150-450 chill hours. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. At maturity, it can reach a height between 15-20 feet and a width of 12-15 feet.
