Camellia Sasanqua - Shi Shi Gashira
Description
The Shi Shi Gashira Camellia is a versatile performer displaying 2 to 3 inch dark pink, semi-double blooms with golden yellow stamens in the center and glossy, dark green foliage. It is a slow-growing shrub that can reach 5 feet tall but is more typically around 3 feet. Shi Shi Gashira is often called a dwarf sasanqua because the flowers and foliage are similar to sasanquas, and it is smaller-growing than typical sasanquas. Its unique weeping form can create the background for a romantic garden setting, or use it as a front-of-the-border feature. Flowers are perfect for cutting. This evergreen is an early to mid season bloomer producing blooms from October to early January. USDA ZONES: Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9.

How to Plant
STEP 2) Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting.
STEP 3) Remove the plant from the pot and place the root ball in the hole. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system.
STEP 4) Once the plant is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material.
STEP 5) Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets.
STEP 6) When finished, water thoroughly.
