Description

The Pink Pom Pom Redbud, is a captivating ornamental tree celebrated for its double pink blooms and lush foliage. Flourishing in USDA Hardiness Zones 5 through 9, this deciduous tree is an excellent addition to any garden or landscape. In early spring, the Pink Pom Pom Redbud dazzles with clusters of double pink flowers that resemble fluffy pom poms, adorning its bare branches and creating a stunning visual display. How to Plant
STEP 1) First, decide on a planting location. Consider carefully what kind of sun, soil, and growing-space your tree or shrub will need.
STEP 2) Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting.
STEP 3) Remove the plant from the pot and place the root ball in the hole. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system.
STEP 4) Once the plant is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material.
STEP 5) Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets.
STEP 6) When finished, water thoroughly.
Care Guide

To care for the Pink Pom Pom Redbud, plant it in well-drained soil and ensure it receives full sun to partial shade. Regular watering, especially during its establishment phase and dry periods, is essential to maintain its health and promote vigorous growth. Pruning should be done in late winter or early spring to remove any dead or damaged branches and to shape the tree as desired. Applying a balanced fertilizer in early spring can further support healthy growth and abundant flowering.
